Loralee and Philip – Grand Rapids Engagement Photography

“Have a seat upon this branch of mine.
It’s been a while, honey, I think I feel fine
…
If everything you’ve said to me has been true,
then all my stars are leading me to you.”

.Loralee and Philip.
Grand Rapids, MI
Yes, this session was photographed in Grand Rapids. What a gem in the center of suburbia … so perfect for Loralee and Philip.
When it came to their session they let their imaginations run wild and they came equipped with props to make their engagement pictures one-of-a-kind.
Loralee is a painter and Philip is a filmmaker so their is no limit to their artistic flair.
Loralee is graduating from Kendall this year and Kai and I are stoked to go see her senior thesis exhibition this coming week. For information on locations and times, check out her website!
Philip has traveled across the nation working on film sets as a Production Designer. This was huge when it came to their engagement pictures. Set design is not only for film! Phil’s design complemented our photography style perfectly and we are really excited about how it all came together. Check out more of Philip’s work here.
Keep your eye out for their slideshow! This is just a small sample.
