Brie and David – Grand Rapids Wedding Photography

Brie and David were married last weekend in Grand Rapids. They had a very family-centric wedding. They included their parents in the pre-ceremony portraits and had just their siblings stand in their bridal party. Sometimes deciding between friends when choosing a bridal party is nearly impossible, so this was a great option!

It began to rain after the ceremony so we pulled out some umbrellas and used the trees to our advantage. Brie, David and the entire wedding party were such good sports … even when the mosquitoes came out. (Doesn’t it seem like the bugs came early this year?)

Sarah and Mike – Grand Rapids Wedding Photography

Sarah and Mike were married this past Saturday. Sarah has been one of my best friends since middle school and I was honored to serve as a Matron of Honor in her and Mike’s wedding. I also did Sarah’s hair and make up! I had a great time being so involved in the wedding and would like to thank Sarah for trusting me with these aspects of her big day! Because I was so preoccupied with my other jobs, Kai was mostly on his own when it came to the photography, but I had no doubt in my mind that he would rock it!

Congratulations to Sarah and Mike! (and to Kai for being awesome at what he does. )

Denae and Scott – Grand Rapids Engagement Photography

Denae and Scott are getting married this coming summer at the Blue Dress Barn. One of my favorite locations! We’ve never shot there but I’ve always wanted to. Unfortunately, we weren’t available for their wedding date, but they hired us for their engagement session anyway! We had a great time photographing them. Not only are they obviously adorable, but they were also so easy to work with.

Katie and Alex – Grand Haven Engagement Photography

You might remember Lindsay and Adam, the adorable couple from last summer. They had a beautiful jazz themed wedding at a golf course. Well, now it’s her sister Katie’s turn to plan her wedding! She is taking her event in a completely different direction and we can’t wait to photograph it!

In preparation, we shot Katie and Alex’s engagement pictures this past week at the beach and had a blast. These two are so fun-loving and easy going. We know their wedding day will be a breeze!
