Kara and Erik – Douglas Wedding Photography

Photographing Kara and Erik was truly a joy. These two are so in love and it really shows! They also have an adorable daughter together named Lyla, and the three of them form the most beautiful family.

The ceremony was originally planned to be located in the backyard at Kara’s parents’ home, but about two hours before the ceremony, the rain began to pour down and didn’t let up. Luckily they had booked a church down the road as a back-up location and the show went on!

It continued to rain post-ceremony so we took the bridal party and couples’ pictures indoors at their reception location, the Baker Lofts. We were so fortunate to come across an open room available for rent on the second floor. It served as our own private studio!

Despite the weather, the day went on perfectly and Kara and Erik remained so positive and happy! Here is a preview of their big day – Enjoy!
