Cara and Michael – Grand Rapids Engagement Photography

Cara and Michael’s engagement session was timed perfectly with the fall color – the leaves were gorgeous! Cara’s family lives by Aquinas College so Kai met her and Michael there for the session. These two are so adorable together! I could see how happy they are together simply by sorting through the images. They were comfortable smiling and laughing with each other, but also showed a lot of tenderness in the more serious, emotional images. We are thrilled to spend more time with them when we photograph their wedding next April!

Betsy and Evan – Grand Rapids Engagement Photography

Kai and I both really enjoyed this engagement session. It was a little chilly out, but Betsy and Evan were so much fun to shoot, it made up for it. Betsy’s parents are close friends with my parents so it was really nice for all four of us to spend some time together and get to know each other better. We are very fortunate to have so many couples for clients that we can consider friends!

Claire and Jay – Kalamazoo Engagement Photography

Kai photographed this engagement session solo. Unfortunately, our schedules couldn’t align, but Kai rocked it on his own. It definitely helped that Claire and Jay are both so photogenic and fun! I was especially bummed I couldn’t make it to the session after seeing how much fun they had by looking through the proofs. Good thing we will be able to work with them again at their wedding!

Candice and Andy – Chicago Engagement Photography

We met up with Candice and Andy in Chicago for their engagement pictures. They live in a beautiful condo very close to Lincoln Park so we began the session in the more natural areas of the city and by the water. For the second part of the session, we went to the urban area of the city where Candice and Andy both work.

We hadn’t met Candice and Andy before their session, but clicked with them right away! This session took us a few hours since we were doing a lot of walking, and Kai and I both enjoyed having that time to get to know them better. We can’t wait for their wedding in June!
